This fine comté has been produced and aged in the Jura region of France since 1860. The milk is produced by local farmers who graze their cattle on mountain pastures. Matured on spruce planks from the Jura, its rind is is rubbed with Guerande sea salt as to their traditional family method. The resulting 12 month aged cheese is fruity, rich and complex
